Day 41

june15; after a final grocery shop, we left Ketchikan at 10 am. Mostly flat seas, except that there was a time where I though putting up the sails would work. Lasted about 5 minutes and the winds died again. After about 6 hours we pulled into a small protected harbor called; Meyors Chuck. Currently it has about 20 permanent residents. Years ago it was “the suburbs” for a nearby Union Bay that had a fish cannery. Long deceased. The docks were free and in great shape. We tied up, took Pi for a walk and spent the night
