Day 46

June 20. Out of Tracy Arm Cove at 8:30am against the current. Down to 1.5 knots ( about 2mph instead of a normal 6mph) to get out of the Cove. Once out we cut the motor and actually sailed north for about 6 hours before the wind died just before our next destination; Taku Harbor. We saw a few totally out of the water humpy breaches in the distance and a herd of Dall’s porpoises that closely escorted us for about 20 minutes. I think I got some decent video off the bow. We had a nice HH on board, outside with Glen and Cheryl from the Victoria area, whom we had HHed with at Bottleneck Inlet a week or so ago. I put a crab trap down just off the the boat with the other commercial traps. Tiz the longest day of the year and there was only about 2 hours of darkness here.
