May 13.   Out of Campbell River at 7am.    Have to go through Seymour Narrows.    Much current.   We wait a bit and go easily through at the 9:30 slack tide.   We motor into a moderate northwesterely to a nice protected Otter Cove.    We stop for lunch and decide to anchor and spend the

Out of Deep bay at 7:30AM on mild seas with a bit of a headwind.    Into Sandy Island Marine Park, just outside of Comox Harbour in about 6 hours.    Nice walking on the beaches.

Outa Gibsons at 6:30AM.    Much friendlier seas today with a moderate head wind.   Motored for 6 hours to Deep Bay in Jedediah Island Marine Park.    Deep Bay had a dozen or so chains bolted into the shore for shore stern tying.   So we did even though we were the only ones in the

May 7 – We pull anchor and head out of the harbour to find a strong northwesterly and quite rough seas.    We did put the main sail up but the going was uncomfortable so we headed back to Gibsons Harbour for another night.    The winds were forecast to be better the next day.

May 6 – We leave Vancouver about 2pm.   There was little wind.  It took about 4 hours to motor to Gibsons Harbour.    We anchored just off the main wharf, about a 5 minute row away.    On the wharf is public washrooms, a laundromat and a free access dumpster.    Close by are lots
