July 22. Mix of sun and cloud with not much wind. I found 7 crab in my trap! 4 keepers. Canadian crab seem to like my bait better than Alaskan crab. I cleaned the crab and put them in the fridge. It was a long day; 10 hours of motoring. We did stop the boat for about an hour just off of Barkley Bay to watch a rather active humpy. Lots of tail and fin slapping and even the odd breach. After that we motored for about an hour into Home Bay where I cooked the crab at the back of the cockpit and we had another crab feast.
